Marilyn “Jan” Jurgensen

Marilyn Jan Jurgensen (nee Mitchell) The Family of Jan Jurgensen is saddened to report her passing on April 16, 2021, at the young age of 69. She died of complications from kidney surgery. Those who know Jan, realize she was an absolute angel on earth. There has never been a more precious wife, mother, and grandmother. She leaves behind her husband of 50 years, Jon Mark, who is already counting the days until he will be reunited with his sweetheart. Jan is survived by her children, Jennifer Lee and Scott Michael; their spouses Daniel Vaughn and Amy Eileen, respectively; and five grandchildren: Megan Paige, Connor Mark, Mallory Grace, Rachel Dawn, and Terra Felicity. Jan and Jon, and their immediate family, have been sealed together for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). As we follow the sterling example of Jesus Christ and obey his commandments and teachings, we will be able to live forever as a family in the next life. The family graciously acknowledges and appreciates the many prayers and acts of kindness shown during this challenging time.
