Marilyn Lee Hutchison

January 20, 1933 — July 17, 2022

Marilyn and Danny, together, shared a passion for adventure. Spontaneous road trips, riding on the back of Danny's dirt bike, traveling Europe, China and all over the United States and taking numerous cruises were just some of their escapades. She walked 21 miles with her grandson Kris for the March of Dimes Walk-a-Thon while Danny was her support crew handing out popsicles. She lost a toe nail and received many blisters. She was a Cub Scout leader for Greg and had those boys digging to the core of the Earth in search for pirate treasures that she had secretly planted in the night. Marilyn often told the neighborhood children that she could fly at night. Of course they were in disbelief and she told them to put bird seed out on their bedroom window and she would fly by at night. And she would. "Kim and Linda, I'm flying, I'm flying". Then off to Brenda's house with the same message. She often rode her bicycle with toddler Kathy to the beach with her best friend, Mary Mastick. She was a loving wife to Danny and her children, Greg and Kathy. And when grandchildren started appearing she was beyond delighted with Kris, Robert, Mary, Danielle and Mark. She was especially happy when they would jump into bed with her and read the morning paper. She always favored children to adults and would seek them out at parties. And then when the great-grandchildren arrived she felt they were the cherry on top of an already blessed life. Thank you Logan, Sadie, Kade, Lyla and Sawyer for bringing her so much joy and love. She is in heaven now with her parents, Hiram and Pearl and her two brothers, Gilbert and Art. She is happy and thrilled beyond belief to see them again. She is now the Earthly angel for her loved ones. Her family knows they will all be together again when God says it's time.
