Marilyn Olivia Wagoner Marilyn passed away on January 28th at her home and in the presence of her loving Family. She had just celebrated her 89th birthday. Marilyn is now out of pain and at peace. Marilyn was born in Costa Mesa to Wanda and Ivan Evans. She spent her youth in Orange County. She graduated from Orange High School in 1950. Marilyn then went on to earn an Associate Degree from Fullerton College. In 1954, Marilyn met and married Jack Wagoner, moving to Colorado for their honeymoon. Returning to California after their son was born, they had a daughter. Soon after they settled in Corona, where they lived for more than 50 years. Marilyn was a devoted mom and spent much of her time supporting her children in sports and Scouts. She was also an avid tennis player, playing twice a week with the same partners for 25 years. She returned to Orange County in 2018 to live in assisted living. In 2020, during the height of Covid, Marilyn moved to her home in Victorville to be closer to her daughter. Marilyn is survived by her son, Robert Wagoner (Tessie), and daughter, Debra Holm (Mike). She is also survived by three grandchildren, Rachel and Ryan Holm and Arielle Wagoner.
