Mark Lin

Mr. Mark Lin passed away at his home in Corona at the age of 43 on January 12, 2021. Born on July 5, 1977 in Taiwan, he is the son of Hsuing Tsai Lin and Judy Lin, the older brother to Matthew Lin, brother-in-law to Joyzen Lin, and uncle to 8-month-old Jay. Mark was a private man and loved simple things in life; he enjoyed sports, he was a movie buff and amassed a large collection of DVDs and vintage VCR tapes. He was a major contender in the gaming community, and he enjoyed the company of close friends and family. Mark was one of the biggest San Francisco 49ers fans and would have loved to have endless conversations on football (whether you were a willing listener or not). Mark was an unofficial "foodie" and would have done well as a part time food blogger even though he was a lousy cook. He was often criticized for overindulging on foods but would laugh off the criticisms by eating and critiquing even more. Mark graduated from UC Riverside in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. It was at this time that Mark developed his "free as a bird" personality, cultivated friendships that he cherished for life, and established his presence in his career. Mark went on to work for West Coast Drywall in Operations and remained with the company for 17 years where he was instrumental in managing cost savings spreadsheets. He enjoyed participating (and winning) the company's fantasy football competitions. Please join Mark's family for a celebration of his life on Friday 2/19/2021 from 12 pm to 3 pm. The location of the viewing will be held at Thomas Miller Mortuary 1118 E. 6th Street, Corona, CA 92789. The cremation process will commence promptly after and will be reserved privately for family viewing.
