Mary Francis Booher

Mary Francis Raney Booher, age 79, went to be with Jesus on March 7, 2016. She was born on August 15, 1936, in Corona, only child of Woodrow and Olivia Raney. Mary graduated from Corona High School in 1954, then met her future husband, Chuck, who was in the Air Force. They married in 1955. Mary was delighted because that meant she could travel. During their travels, she was secretary to two base commanders: Edwards AFB, CA, and Kadena AB, Okinawa. Retirement from the Air Force came, and they settled in Corona. They had two wonderful children, Chuck and Wendy, and eventually five grandsons. Mary worked for Sunkist in Corona, the City of Corona, and at the Fleet Analysis Center in Norco. Mary and Chuck spent time with the grandchildren at every opportunity, on their fishing boat, at a ranch in central California, and salmon fishing in Oregon which brought them many happy days until Chuck became ill with Mad Cow Disease. Widowhood brought more travel and new adventures. She loved hearing her son, pastor of Crossroads Christian Church, preach. She was a devout Christian and surrendered her life completely to Jesus. She considered each day a blessing. Surviving are her son Chuck Booher and wife Pam, daughter Wendy, five grandsons (Rich, Tim and wife Jill, Robert, Ryan, Rick) and five adorable great grandchildren (Caroline and Myra, Liam, Ellani, and Tatum).
