Mary Louise Mcgavran

Mary Louise McGavran was born December 12, 1925 in Los Angeles California to the parents of Edward and Marguerite Ackerman. She graduated Manual Arts High School and went to work for Bank of America in 1944. She also worked for the hall of Records in Los Angeles. She met Stephen Roy McGavran in 1949 at a dance club on Figueroa street in LA. They were married in 1950. They lived in Los Angeles, Taft, San Ardo, Alhambra, La Brea, Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills. She enjoys reading, watching TV, crosswords, gardening, and did I mention TV?. She was a devoted member of the Republicans Woman's Club, and attended President Richard Nixons funeral alongside five other presidents. She is survived by her sister Barbara, three children, eight grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
