Mary M. Palomares

Mary M. Palomares 88, of Corona, Ca., passed away in her home on June 4th 2017. She was born to Cirila Barajas and Isa Macias in Indio, Ca., on July 7, 1928. She was married to her beloved spouse Frank L.Palomares for 51 years until his death in 2001. Together, they raised two daughters. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Frank Palomares, her two sons- in- law, Dale C. Hoy Sr., and Greg M. Lowder, as well as a grandson, Garryl Hoy. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann Hoy and Agatha Lowder, her grandchildren Bonnie Jean Hoy, Dale C. Hoy II (Sheri), Mary Elaine Meqdad (Abdul), Jason Hoy, Sharon Lowder , Christine Lowder, her great granddaughter Jean Haight and her great great grandson, Jermaine Washington. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Velasquez and two sisters, Mary Helen Velasquez and Rosemary Velasquez as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and Godchildren. Our mother had a great sense of humor and her laugh was infectious. She had a beaming smile that lit up the room and loved being with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. The viewing and rosary will be at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 15th, 2017 at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Corona, Ca. The burial will follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Services entrusted to Thomas Miller Mortuary (951) 737-3244.
