Mary Pitsenberger, 95, of Phoenix Arizona, passed away January 2, 2020, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Joseph and Josephine Graffio, July 3, 1924, in Huntington Park, CA. She married the late Roy Pitsenberger in 1980, and they lived together in Long Beach, CA for 33 years. Mary moved to Corona, CA after the death of her husband (Roy) to live with her daughter Janet in 2013. From there, she moved to Oklahoma to live with daughter Nickie for a short time before moving to Phoenix, Arizona to live with son Steve. She is survived by 4 children: Janet Wilson and husband Jerry, of Corona, CA; Steve Hocker and wife Lori, of Phoenix, AZ; Nickie Blackwell and husband Bill, of Braggs, Oklahoma; Jerry Engen and wife Jill of Danville, CA. She's survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother to all. She loved everyone she ever met. Best known for a vibrant personality, always laughing daily which she contributed to reaching 95 years of age, in addition to loving ice cream and candy. In the early years of her life Mary was a singer in a quartet with the Sweet Adelines and a ballroom dancer. She also loved to groom the show horses for her kids. In her later years she loved playing penny slots at the casino (she was a very lucky lady winning all the time). Her special talents were painting and drawing. Disney characters were her favorite and brought much joy to her life. She was passionate and walked 1 to 2 miles a day with her precious Bella (a T-cup schnauzer to the very end). Her favorite saying was always "Top of The Line" for anything she purchased.
