Micaela Salazar

Micaela Salazar, 96, of Corona, California, died December 27, 2016 in Corona, Califronia. She was born September 29, 1920 in Globe, AZ, daughter of Canuto Salazar and Josefa Vasquez . Micaela worked as a Teacher Aide for Belvedere Childrens Center for over 15 years. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. Surviving are her children, David Salazar, Gloria Azevedo, John Salazar, , Alex Salazar and Angie Normandy; grandchildren, Andrea Dye, Yasmine Rodriguez, Maya Smith, Itzel Mendoza, Tahnee Ramsaur, Jerry Normandy, Stephanie Normandy, John Salazar Jr. Melissa Azevedo, Quinn Salazar, Myles Salazar and 13 great-grandchildren. Micaela was preceded in death by Husband, Severiano Salazar, Father, Cantu Salazar, Mother, Josefa Vasquez and daughter, Yolanda Salazar. Services will be held at St. Francis Xavier Parish, January 7, 2017 at 9:00 am. Interment will follow in the Resurrection Cemetery, Montebello, California.
