Michael was born on December 28th, 1939 in Albion New York He had One Brother, two sisters, One son, One daughter, Two stepsons and One stepdaughter. He also had Three Step Grandchildren, and Three great Step grandchildren. Michael joined the Army in 1958 and was discharged in 1960. As many of you know he did not like to be bossed around. This is explaining the reason he was not in the army too long. He spent most of his career in sales mostly with patios. He really was good at it and in the 80's he opened up his own business with his wife Sandy called S & M Sales. He would work the home and garden shows, Malls, and even the swap meet. His wife Sandy would gather all the leads and he would provide the estimates, close the deals and when he was younger, he would build the patios. He even built a room addition for his stepson Darren. In 1977 Michael met Sandy at the Mississippi Moonshine and they were married in 1980. Last year, Michael and Sandy celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary, though his memory wasn't the best at this time but did ask if he could have some money and go to the store and buy a card for his wife. Through his life he was very active with activities such as joining pool leagues and bowling leagues and was very good at it. He loved swing dancing with his wife they would match when they dressed up and danced in style. They were so good together that people they didn't even know would come to them and comment to them how cute they look together. They even won a few dance contests. His passion was all his friends at the American Legion. How he loved to participate in every activity and was very vocal. He was very passionate about saying what he felt and didn't care what others thought. He loved people calling him by KOZ and this is how his friends greeted him. Most people remember him with one drink in one hand and a cigarette in the other. This was just how he was. Loved to party enjoy life and have a good time. The world is a sadder place without Michael Kozlowski in our lives. But he touched each one of us and has left us with memories we will cherish forever.
