Milton Larry Keck

August 5, 1952 — October 2, 2021

Larry Keck's family is saddened to announce his passing on October 2, 2021 at 4:00 am in the City of Orange, at the age of 69 due to complications of pulmonary fibrosis. Larry was born on August 5th, 1952 in Fairfield Ia. and is survived by his soul mate / wife, Dreama Vineyard of Orange, Ca., and her daughter, Tina Fitch also of Orange CA. Larry is also survived by his oldest son, Raymond Keck and his husband, James Long of Palm Springs, Ca., his daughter, Angie Robusteli and her husband, Dan Robusteli of Las Vegas, Nv., and his youngest child, Patrick Keck of Mount Pleasant, Ia. Larry's sister Leota Willey of Mount Pleasant, Ia. also survives along with seven grandchildren. Larry served in the Marine Corps from 1970 to 1974 and did two tours in Vietnam. While in the service he received a Rifle Sharpshooter badge, Meritorious Mast, National Defense Service Medal, and a Good Conduct Medal. After his service in the Marine Corps, he married Carol Ann Brown of Mount Pleasant Ia., mother to Raymond Owens. It was during their twenty one year marriage that they had daughter Angie and son Patrick. In 1995, with the help of the Riverside County Clerk's office in California, Ray's last name was legally changed to Keck as he became Larry's son. A phenomenal family man, Larry showed his children and grandchildren that they were important and greatly loved. There was nothing he wouldn't do for them. Larry loved riding his Harley Davidson and going to the different Veterans Legions. He loved his country and was proud of his military service. Not only was Larry the best father and grandfather anyone could have asked for, he has left behind many friends and brothers-at-arms. Larry Keck will be truly missed by all who knew him. He is mourned by the family whom he shared so much love with. The only solace at this time, is to imagine Larry riding around in heaven on his Harley Davidson, smoking his cigar, and having a margarita with the man upstairs. We love & miss you Dad. You will always live in our hearts and memories.
