Moses Alfred Haynes, 94, of Corona, California, died February 8, 2016 of Alzheimers disease in Corona, CA. He was born November 17, 1921 in Georgetown, British Guyana, son of Milton Haynes and Charlotte Haynes. He had many degrees including a Bachelors, Master of Public Health, and a Doctorate. He served in the military for the U.S. Public Health Service and was senior surgeon from 1955 to 1959. Moses worked as a Physician and was President and Dean of Charles R. Drew Medical School from 1979-1986. He was a member of multiple clubs and organizations throughout the world. Surviving are Wife, Hazel Louise Haynes of Corona, CA. Daughter, Theresa Aldrich of Corona, CA, Brother, Aaron Haynes of Panama, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Dr. M. Alfred Haynes Endowed Scholarship Fund at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, Los Angeles, California.
