Myron Lee Dinga

February 1, 1960 — June 30, 2023

Myron L. Dinga, 63, of Riverside, CA died on June 30, 2023 as the result of an accidental drowning. He was born on Feb. 1, 1960 to Virgil and Linda (Bauer) Dinga in Minot, ND. He was raised on the family farm, attended and graduated from school in Butte, ND. He attended North Dakota State College of Science and graduated with a degree in architectural drafting. Myron moved to California in 1980 where he began his 43-year career in structural steel. Myron was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Janice Johnson in 1981 in Minot, ND. They made their family home in Riverside. They were blessed with a daughter, Jessica, in 1982 and a son, Justin, in 1984. He enjoyed family, friends, sports, hunting, fishing, but mostly spending time with his grandchildren and cheering them on. Surviving family includes: wife of 42 years, Janice Dinga, children Jessica Brett (fianc Mike Weber), Justin Dinga (Victoria); grandchildren, Hunter Dinga, Kellan Brett, and Hailee Dinga. Brothers Byron (Susan) and Ryan Dinga. Sister Rhonda Kingsley (Kevin). Brothers-in-law David Johnson (Cindy), Paul Johnson (Terri), John Johnson (Shelley). Sisters-in-law Kathryn Bauer (Scott) and Chris Casalo (Nick) and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Myron was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, and mother-in-law. There will be a Catholic burial in North Dakota at a later date. Memories shared by grandchildren: Dear Papa, Thank you for always being there for me when I needed you. I'll miss you cheering for me.
