Natalie Veronica Melissa Bock was born to Ronald Bock and Linda Gonzalez. She was born Feb 2, 1978 on Ground Hog's Day. But where the groundhog kept its' head underground, this little girl always kept her head high. As a young child, she was an accomplished dancer and performed many dance recitals. Her love of dance and movement evolved to Polynesian Dance and eventually to Fire Dancing at Burning Man. Natalie enjoyed hiking and camping. She loved bats and owned a lavish collection of dragons. It was no wonder Halloween was her favorite holiday. And she loved to dress up for costumed events. Natalie was also well educated. Her proudest achievement was an MBA in marketing at UC Riverside. But Natalie's passion was science where she taught Science and Math at Scholars Preparatory School in Burbank. Natalie was a very selfless and loving person. Her greatest love was her daughter, Melissa, and later her grand-daughter, Beija Flor Lively. She also had tremendous love for her family and demonstrated love and loyalty to her friends. In the last five years of her life, Natalie found love through Alan Sam, her fianc, and the two became inseparable on all their adventures, shenanigans and silliness. Natalie is survived by her father, Ronald Bock, her mother, Linda Gonzalez, Step-Father, Ray Gonzalez, daughter, Melissa Lara and grand-daughter, Beija Flor Lively, her fianc, Alan Sam, her sister, Tina Cove, brother-in-law, Andy Cove, her brother, Lonnie Bock and her aunts, uncles, cousins, many nieces, nephews, and friends. The Rose Some say love it is a river that drowns the tender need Some say love it is a razor that leaves your soul to bleed Some say love it is a hunger an endless aching need I say love it is a flower and you it's only seed It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance It's the dream afraid of waking that never takes a chance It's the one who won't be taken who can not seem to give And the soul afraid of dying that never learns to live When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snow Lies a seed that with the sun's love in spring becomes the rose Service Sandals Church - Palm 6807 Palm Ave Riverside, California 92506 951-637-8800 | Saturday 12/14, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Cemetery Crestlawn Memorial Park 11500 Arlington Ave. Riverside, California 92505 (951) 689-1441 | Saturday 12/14, 2:00 pm Reception American Legion Riverside Post 79 2979 Dexter Dr. Riverside, California 92501 951-788-8635 | Saturday 12/14
