Age 85, of Norco, California, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family. Nellie was born January 23, 1934 in Prado, California. She graduated from Corona Senior High School, Corona, California in 1953. She then went on to attend Beauty School in San Diego, California. She was employed as a beautician along side the owner and her sister, Carmen Orozco Cordova at Carmens Beauty Salon in Corona, California for many years. She then went on to work as an Instructional Aide II at the Corona Norco Unified School District for a few years. She then retired from MGE UPS Systems (aka EPE) Inc. in Costa Mesa, California; after 15 years of service in 1999. She was a choir member at St. Edward Catholic Church - Hispanic Liturgy. She also studied with the Diocesis de San Bernardino Escuela de Ministerios. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, taking care of her grandchildren and taking trips to the casino with family. She is preceded in death by her late husband of 57 years, Louie B. Esparza; her parents, Maximiliano and Maria Orozco; and her siblings, Manuelita Orozco, Eliza Gonzalez, Tony Orozco, Robert Orozco and Sil Orozco all of Corona, California. She is survived by her three children, Maria “Lennie” Keesler (Bret Keesler) of Riverside, Victor M. Esparza (Carmen Andrade) of Norco and Sylvia Samerdjian (Art Vazquez) of Corona. She also leaves behind 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren; her siblings, Carmen Cordova of Corona, California, Irene Sandoval, Catalina Garcia, Chana Antkowiak and Cookie Holmen all of Riverside, California, Erlinda Moreno of Adelanto, California; brother, Victor Orozco of Ontario, California; brother-in-laws, John Esparza of Corona, California, Tony Esparza of Benson, Arizona and sister-in-law, Rita Hanson of Yuba City, California and many nieces and nephews.
