Norma Alvarez

On the evening of December 8, 2015, Norma Alvarez passed away at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, CA as a result of surgery complications. Norma was 42 years of age. Norma is survived by her parents Mike Mendoza and Maria Hernandez; husband, Rudy Alvarez Sr.; children Rudy Alvarez Jr., Alyssa Alvarez, Ruben Alvarez, and Brianna Alvarez; granddaughter, Jazleen Alvarez. Siblings; Maria De Lourdes Olivas, Dora Mendoza, Laura Mendoza and Doris Mendoza. Norma was born in Orange, CA on January 27, 1973 to Mike Mendoza and Maria Hernandez. She was a resident of Placentia, CA and attended Valencia High School. Norma was a loving wife and mother. She took tremendous pride in her family and seized every opportunity to celebrate them through various forms of affection such as cooking homely meals and hosting celebrations on several occasions. Services are scheduled as follows: Thursday December 17, 2015 at 11:30 A.M. at the Sierra Memorial Chapel Mortuary. Burial will be held at 1:30 P.M. at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
