Pauline Alice Bogard

In Loving Memory Pauline Alice Bogard July 2, 1936 - October 8, 2021 Pauline was born in Marshall, Minnesota to Ann and Earl Lien. She was the vivacious middle child, always up for an adventure with her older sister, Barbara, and younger brother, Dennis. Planting her roots deep to build a strong Midwestern mentality-words of wisdom that Pauline regularly offered to others was, "Family first." - she made her way out to California, meeting her eventual husband, Gerald, while trying to scoop pennies out of a fountain in Orange (the offered temptation was too great, and he attempted to push her in). Despite a less-than-promising start, the two fell in love and were married on September 29, 1956, thus tying their lives together in life and beyond. Pauline and Gerald built a family with one another, now leaving behind four children: Dianna, Jean, Sheryl, and Richard (as well as a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren). Happy memories of camping at lake Isabella and cheering at football and baseball games are part of the legacy that Pauline has given to her family; sticking to her favorite saying, she always tried to put first: regularly showing up at her children and grandchildren's events and being the loudest cheerleader in the stands. She was a housewife and prided herself in that role, always ensuring that her family knew that they were loved, appreciated, and taken care of. Pauline passed away in the city of Riverside on October 8, 2021, moving on to join Gerald in eternal marriage in heaven.
