Peggy Lee Gipson

It is with sadness to announce the passing of Peggy Lee Gipson on June 14th, 2024.

Being diagnosed with cancer in 1999, she lost her battle after 25 years.

She was born March 23, 1952, in Nephi, UT to Joyce Taylor Eden Parker and Charles Eden.

She married Bert Lamond Argyle in 1967 and they divorced in 1971. They had two daughters, Barbara Lee and Buffy Kay.

She married her second husband Larry Gipson in 1972 and together they had a daughter Jolene Marie.

Peggy is survived by her husband Larry Gipson, her children Buffy Kay and Jolene Marie; her mother Joyce Taylor; sisters, Kathryn, Lorna and Janice. She is preceded in death by her father Charles Eden and her daughter Barbara Lee.

Peggy enjoyed Quilting, Crocheting, Reading (except Sci-Fi), Gardening, and Movies (adventure, romance, comedy and drama) and living one day at a time. Some of her favorite things were all varieties of food, country music, going to the baseball stadium for games. Roses, Gladiolus and Iris flowers. During the Olympic Seasons her favorite events were Bobsleds, Skiing and Swimming.

Larry says, “To understand me is to know me.” I know he would love to tell you stories about me. There is also some good tales about him too.
