Philip Kyle Lamb, age 60, passed away on Saturday March 21, 2015 due to complications from COPD. Philip was born in Gary, Indiana on September 13, 1954. He was raised in Indiana until 1963 when his parents, Lyall and Isabel moved the family to California. Philip graduated from La Sierra High School in 1973. He had a love for music, playing guitars, woodworking and camping. Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Lyall and Margaret Isabel Lamb, and his precious nephew, Ryan Colby Traboulay. He is survived by three brothers, Timothy, Keith and David and one sister, Deborah Lamb Hinojos, sons Caleb and Jordan, daughter Kylie and granddaughter, Caitlyn and 8 nieces and nephews. Philip had numerous jobs throughout his career. In the 1980s he worked at the California Institution for Women as a Correctional Officer. He worked at a Residential Treatment Center for children in New Mexico and worked as an LVN in the 1990s. He also worked at Lambs 7-11 throughout their sixteen year ownership in the 70s and 80s. This past decade, Philip became a caregiver for both his Dad and Mom. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Sierra Memorial Chapel Mortuary, located at 4933 La Sierra Ave., Riverside, CA. Funeral Service on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.; also held at the Mortuary. Interment will be at Olivewood Memorial Park.
