Phyllis Coy Rossetti

Phyllis Coy Rossetti, age 82 of Leechburg, PA, passed away on September 18th, 2022. Born on September 27, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Ruth (Heffelfinger) Coy. She was the loving mother of Sheryl Rossetti and Michelle (Shelly) Nunez (Raul Martinez), beloved grandmother of Emily Nunez, Rocko and Niko Signor, loving sister of the late Mary Lee Stotler and husband Bill Stotler, loving aunt to Bill Stotler (Kathy) and Jody Bennett (Bill). Phyllis was a graduate of Leechburg High School and Thiel College. Her career included teaching elementary education in the early years. She would then go on to work in both the construction and medical fields as an office manager. Phyllis was a known for her kindness and caring heart. Everyone who met her immediately liked her. She had many friends throughout her life because of this. Phyllis was also an avid dog lover known to always have a furry friend by her side. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, playing cards and decorating her home with antiques. She also loved her vacations at the beach. But above all, Phyllis was truly a devoted mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy came from being Mom and Nana to her daughters, grandchildren and her dog Jasper. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 6th at 2pm at Greenwood Memorial Park, 104 Melwood Road, New Kensington, PA 15068. Guests can meet near the mausoleum by 1:45 and will then proceed the grave site in Section X. Directions to the grave site can also be given at the front office. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local humane society.
