Priscila Magallon, a remarkable woman whose life was marked by strength, perseverance, and a radiant smile, passed away peacefully along side her family on May 28, 2026, in Riverside, California. Born on January 6, 1939, in Coalcoman, Michoacan, Mexico. Priscila journeyed through life with unwavering determination and an inspiring spirit, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Priscila's career was one of dedication and skill, as she worked with Boeing, manufacturing airplane parts—a testament to her commitment and hard work. Her proudest accomplishment was becoming a United States citizen, embracing the freedoms and opportunities of her adopted country with immense pride and gratitude. She was extremely proud and grateful to both her inlaw grandson’s for serving their country and providing her with freedoms.
Beyond her professional life, Priscila cherished travel and found great joy in revisiting memories of Elvis Presley in Memphis, Tennessee—her adventurous spirit bringing light and vitality to every trip. Those who crossed her path often remember her radiant smile and stylish glasses. How she persevered with incredible strength through grief and hardships, a true beacon of resilience and Love.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Ofelia and Carmen, and her grandchildren Elena, Andrea, Jonathan, Antonio, Angelique, and Sofia. Her legacy extends to six beautiful great-grandchildren: Jared, Issac, Alexa, Valentino, Allie, and Zoe, who continue to carry forward her love and spirit. Priscila also leaves behind living family members who cherished her deeply: her brothers Lauriano and Juan Arteaga, alongside Mariano Alonzo.
Priscila was preceded in death by her first husband Gaspar and along with her second husband Johnny and three of her children, Teresita, George, and Gaspar “Louie”, whose memories remain forever close to her heart.
Services to honor Priscila’s life will be held at Corona Chapel, 1118 E 6th St, Corona, CA 92879, on June 3, 2026, beginning with a funeral service at 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at Corona Sunnyslope Cemetery, located at 1125 Rimpau Avenue, Corona, CA 92879, starting at 1:30 PM.
As we say goodbye to our beloved Priscila Magallon, we celebrate a life rich with love, resilience, and cherished memories. Her enduring spirit will live on in the hearts of all our families and all who were blessed to know her, a shining example of strength and grace through every season of life.
