In Loving Memory of Reynaldo Luciano Edrosa
Reynaldo Luciano Edrosa, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, son, and friend, passed away on September 29, 2026, in Corona, California, at the age of 66.
Born in Manila, Philippines, Reynaldo lived a life marked by intelligence, curiosity, creativity, and a deep devotion to his family. He was humble, kind, funny, and quietly caring. He showed his love in simple ways, always checking on the people around him and making sure everyone was okay. Those ordinary questions were his way of letting us know that he cared.
Reynaldo had a brilliant and naturally curious mind. He was exceptionally skilled in computers and engineering and was capable of creating his own computer chips from scratch. Mathematics came equally natural to him, and his ability to understand complex concepts was so impressive that those around him encouraged him to become a calculus teacher. He pursued knowledge not for recognition, but simply because he loved learning and understanding how things worked.
His creativity extended into photography. Reynaldo had his own darkroom and developed his photographs himself, enjoying the entire process from taking the picture to creating the finished image.
He found joy in many simple things—music, bowling, movies, architecture, gardening, fishing, and especially his beloved dogs. He also loved sports and was a loyal fan of the Rams, Lakers, and Angels. Whether he was tending to his garden, spending time with his dogs, watching his favorite teams, or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon, Reynaldo found happiness in the things he loved.
But above all, Reynaldo treasured his family.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Malou; his children, Melissa, Reynaldo Jr., and Kristopher; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Akiva, and Bre. He was also a loving uncle and a cherished member of his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurea and Norberto Edrosa.
For those who knew him, Reynaldo’s absence will be felt in the everyday moments—the sound of his voice, his laughter and humor, his questions, his conversations, and the quiet comfort of knowing he was there.
We are grateful for the life he shared with us, for the memories he created, and for the love he gave so freely.
A father’s love does not end when he leaves. It remains in the children he raised, the grandchildren he loved, and the memories he gave us.
Reynaldo, you will always be loved, always remembered, and deeply missed.
