Rhonda Angela Bruce

We gather here today to celebrate the life of Rhonda Angela Bruce. Rhonda made her transition on January 25, 2023, at the age of 53 years old. Rhonda will be remembered for her friendly demeanor, unwavering assertiveness, insatiable curiosity, and hilarious personality. Rhonda was born the second child to Edgar and Cora Bruce. She was called "GiGi" by her two wonderful grandsons Jaelen and Seven. "Mom" by her two stunning daughters, Tehani and Nyaa. Her mother called her “daughter,” and everyone she came into contact with called her “sister,” “aunt,” and “friend.” Rhonda loved to cook, swim, garden, dance, and travel. She was passionate about learning and looked for both common and uncommon subjects to research. She worked well with her hands and had the capacity to fix things; not only physically but spiritually as well. Rhonda had a reputation for helping those with broken spirits heal. She was a long-time drug and alcohol abuse counselor, worked as a mental health professional in the prison system, and was a certified nursing assistant. Though her greatest achievement was being a mother to her two lovely daughters, Tehani and Nyaa. Rhonda was a fashionista and enjoyed adding to her shoe collection. She was a prankster and loved to play a game or two with family and friends. She was kind and always willing to assist others. And above all, Rhonda always stressed the importance of enjoying life and remaining thankful and grateful for even the smallest things. Rhonda is survived by her parents Edgar and Cora Bruce. Two daughters Tehani Bellamy and Nyaa Bruce and two grandsons, Jaelen Carter, and Seven Holman. Rhonda leaves behind siblings Sean, Arianne, Arnin, and Andre. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and countless friends. Rhonda has joined our heavenly Father, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the angels and archangels, her grandparents James and Hilda Sealey, and her uncles Albert and Vincent Sealey in heaven.
