Richard's Story His adventure began on June 13, 1938 in New York When he was 17 years old he joined the US Navy and worked his way to the highest rank of Master Chief Petty Officer He married Joanne Preciado in 1960 and had 4 wonderful children, Rick, Maryanne, Annette and Dennis. His family continued to grow with 4 grandchildren, Nichole, Brandon, Sarah and Kaitlyn, and 5 great grandchildren, Jakob, Jemma, Jaxson, Ella and Enzo. After losing his marriage of 10 years, in 1973 he married his second love Shirley Haines and had a wonderful son Michael, and adopted 2 remarkable special needs children, Samantha and Rudy.
