Richard Warren Burns

Richard Warren Burns of Riverside and Grand Terrace, who died Sunday at the age of 89. A native Californian, Richard enlisted in World War II on his 18th birthday and was stationed in Korea. He attended Riverside City College and La Sierra University. In Riverside he worked at Bridgeport Brass, Alcan Aluminum and HCI. He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Smith and Lori Burns; his brother Doug and sister Marian; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday in Sierra Memorial Chapel, Riverside.
