Robert Anthony Cruz

Robert Anthony Cruz of Corona, California passed away on January 10th, 2024.

He was born on November 15th, 1967 at Parkview Hospital in Riverside, California to Lucille E. Hampton and Robert P. Cruz who preceded him in death.

He lived in Corona and Moreno Valley, California. He attended St. Edward’s Catholic School and Moreno Valley High School. Robert also attended the UCR University Extension to continue his education.

Robert attended St. Edward’s Catholic Church where he was heavily involved with Life Teen and played the guitar in the church band. He worked extensively with those in AA and volunteered his time with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He saw the importance of giving back and took every opportunity to do so.

Robert spent the last few years working at Amazon. He loved his job and mentored many new associates. He was part of the Safety Team and Employees with Disabilities which supported and championed those with disabilities.

He is survived by his Mother, Lucille Hampton, Step Father, Randy Hampton and his Sisters, Melinda Perez and Priscilla Boggs. He also has 3 nephews and 4 nieces who will miss him very much: Noah, Nathaniel, Samantha, Baylee, Brandon, Cailyn and Cassidy.
