Robert "Bob" Rohde

November 26, 1944 — December 24, 2023

It is with a heavy heart and a twinkle in our eye that we bid farewell to Robert George Rohde, also affectionately known as Bob, who danced his way into eternity on December 24, 2023 at home in Corona California. Bob was born in Columbus Nebraska and lived a life filled with laughter, adventure and a hearty dash of mischief.

Bob spent 36 years in the grocery business showcasing his skills as a master butcher. With each slice and dice he carved his way into our hearts.

When he wasn't wielding his trusty cleaver, Bob was a golf extraordinaire and a wizard with a fishing rod. He also had a passion for travel and exploration, which he embarked upon with his beloved wife, his close friends, family and his partner-in-adventure granddaughter Paige. Together they created memories that will live on and never be forgotten.

Bob's zest for life was contagious and his infections energy made him the life of every party, and boy could he dance up a storm! He had a knack for turning any occasion into a celebration.

Bob hit the jackpot in the game of family. He is survived by his four daughters and their husband's: Cynthia and John Stees, Stephanie and Edward Hughes, Vicki and Paige Lopez and Jeannie and Jarrod Gutierrez. Bob's grand squad consists of thirteen grandchildren: Thomas, Jeffery, Brittany, Jessica, Robert (Bubba), Tru, Serenity, Sammy, Matthew, Austin, Shalletta, Samantha and Paige. Let's not forget his five great grandchildren who also brought a sprinkle of joy to his life.

Bob's journey to the crystal clear lake shore in the sky was preceeded by his beloved wife of 30 years Marilyn Rohde, his son Bobby Rohde, his daughter Johanna Rohde and grandson Tyler McCuistion.

As we bid adieu to Bob/Dad/Grandpa, let us remember his infections laughter, his mischievous spirit and the way he waltzed through life with a skip in his step; reminding us to live each day with joy, happiness and a touch of Bob's playful spirit.

"Take five."

-Bob
