Robert (Bob) Mauger of Corona, passed away in Riverside on March 5, 2024. Born December 1, 1940, to Von and Ruth Mauger in Allentown, PA. Grew up in Middlesex, NJ, attended Bound Brook High School and Newark School of Fine Arts. Enlisted in the Air Force in 1962 and while stationed in Orlando, FL, in 1963 met the love of his life, Joan. They were married for 60 years and have 4 children, Chris (Theresa) of Victorville, Eric (SeSook) of Oakland, Bobby (Amy) of Corona, and Katy of Las Vegas.
He worked for Burroughs Corp in NJ and ITT Cannon in California where he was the Customer Use Tooling Manager from 1981 until 1999. After retirement, he became a volunteer at March Field Air Museum where he gave tours and taught educational programs about aviation and history, and was happy to share his stories.
His loves were his family, history, airplanes, and motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife Joan, a sister Patricia of NJ, his 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Service will be graveside at Riverside National Cemetery with a reception following at March Field Air Museum.
