Rosita O Daag

On Friday, January 22, 2021 at 3:15pm, Rosita Daag, beloved mother and grandmother, peacefully passed away at the age of 90. Rosita was born on July 6, 1930, in Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines. In the Philippines, she ran her own family business alongside her children for over 30 years before immigrating to the United States. She married Marcelino Daag on December 5, 1951. She loved retelling the story of how she and Marcelino met and later married. As a devoted mother, she would diligently prepare the breakfast and lay out the clothing for her eight children before heading out to her market stall in the morning. Towards the latter part of her life, she became interested in word searches and making many friends as they bonded in stories of her life in the Philippines. Rosita was preceded in death by her mother, Maxima, her father, Segundo, her husband, and her children, Amor and Rosana. She is survived by her children; Marita, Rosemary, Marlito, Frida, Marcelino Jr., and Rosano; 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was able to hold and spend time with her newest great-grandchild before she passed. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm PST. Service and Rosary between 2:00pm and 3:00pm. Live Stream will also be available by clicking on the "Watch Livestream" button at any time during the visitation and service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations towards funding Rosita's final wish to be buried in the Philippines next to Marcelino.
