Roy E Sanchez - cherished Husband, Father, and Papa - passed away September 13th, 2019. Born June 2nd, 1936 - Magdalena, New Mexico. Raised on a farm as a child, he embodied the spirit of all things Country Western. Graduated high school in 1955, where he lettered and excelled in football and track & field. Upon graduation, Roy enlisted in the Navy. He proudly served his country, travelled the world, and experienced many adventures. A hardworking and dedicated employee, he worked in management for 40 years in the Window Production Business. Respected by many and loved by all, he was one of a kind. A huge sports fan, with a passion for singing, music, and playing his guitars. Never one to shy away from the spotlight, his charismatic presence commanded any room he was in. A competitive man with style, swagger, and a zest for life. He was married to his beloved wife, Antonia, for 37 blissful years. Of all of his many accomplishments, his children and grandchildren were his true pride and joy. This adored and treasured father is survived by his children: Robert Sanchez, Lydia Hause, Roman Sanchez, Antionette Brown, Raul Sanchez, Roy E. Sanchez Jr. (Rocky). Daughter in Laws: Rosemary Sanchez, Bianca Sanchez, and Heather Sanchez. Son in Laws: Aaron Brown and John Hause. Sixteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Forever in our hearts.
