Ruby Cervino

Ruby (Ward) Cervino, a 99-year old resident of Norco, Ca., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was born on July 6,1926 in Slemp, Kentucky to Edna and Herbert Ward.

She moved with her mother and family to California in 1950 from North Carolina. She was united in marriage to Vincent A. Cervino, a L. B. fireman, on June 24, 1953. They lived in the Long Beach area raising their four sons until she and Vincent later relocated to Norco in 1976. There, she began a 15-year successful real estate career and won several high sales awards. Ruby enjoyed helping families find the perfect home.

Ruby had a humble faith in Jesus Christ her Savior and was a faithful member of Turning Point Church in Norco. Family, faith, and friends were her priorities. Her life was defined by her loving and caring personality. She gave of herself with kindness and generosity.

Ruby is survived by her sons, W. Vaughn (Kathy) Bonham of Norco, Ca., David (Kelli) Cervino of Orange, Ca. Thomas Cervino of Norco, Ca., and Steven (Rebecca) Cervino of Victorville, Ca., grandchildren William B. (Beverly) Bonham of Weatherford, Tx., Gina Jauregui (Fernando) of Lake Forest, Ca., Lucia Hannah (Matt) of Fullerton, Ca., Steven W. Cervino of Az., Ashley M. Cervino of Az., and great-grandchildren William J. Bonham, Julia L. Bonham, Edith and Vincent Jauregui, and great- great granddaughter Sage Bonham.

She is preceded in death by her parents Edna and Herbert Ward, her loving husband of over 50 years, Vincent, and her four siblings, Elizabeth (Annie) Hood, Marjorie (Marge) Marriot, Mattie Jean (Pat) Travis, and Glen Ward.

We will always call her SuperMom.

Services will be held September 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Thomas Miller Mortuary and Crematory 1118 E. 6th St. Corona, Ca. 92879. Internment will be for immediate family only at 1:30 Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd Riverside, Ca. 92518.
