Santiago nació en México, Zacatecas el 30 de agosto de 1974 y llegó a Estados Unidos hace 23 años. Era un hijo, esposo, padre, y amigo. Le sobreviven su esposa y sus hijos, hijos polícos, padres, y demás familiares. Después de una larga y dura batalla, falleció el 2 de marzo de 2024. Aunque no está con nosotros descansa en paz en las manos de Dios.
