Sharon Lynn Sanderfield, 59, passed peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026. She was born March 17, 1967, in Effingham, Illinois to William Martin and Sharon kay Sanderfield. She is survived by her parents and brother, William Brian Saderfield; Aunts Sandra Burger, June Clark, Betty Sanderfield, Karron Bingman and Marlene Gant; Uncles Jerry (Kelly) Sanderfield and Lee (Debbie) Rutledge. Several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She sang in the El Dorado High School choir and was a member of the Circle City Chorale. She sang at her parents' 50th anniversary event.
She started her career as a tutor at Norco Community College. She worked for a Labeltech, Enterprise Swiss, Fairview Development Center, and California Department of Consumer Affairs. She moved to Sacramento in 2019 and worked fir STRS (State Teachers' Retirement System) until her retirement in August 2025.
The world lost a shinign example of humanity and her father lost his one and only baby princess. If the world followed the examples she set and shared her level of kindness and selflessness, it would be a better place.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations should be made to your local church in her name or to Bethany Lutheran Church, Norco, CA.
