With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Sherry Kay Hall. Born on August 1, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, Sherry passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in Riverside, California, on September 29, 2024, at the age of 79.
Sherry was preceded in death by her husband Donald Preston Hall in April of 2000. She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Kay (Robert) Regnier and Kathleen (Troy)
Andrew; Donald’s son Michael (Susan) Hall; three grandsons, Raymond Hall (Taylor Emerson), Ryan Andrew (Allison Weaver), and David Hall; one granddaughter, Jacquelynn Hall; and her dearest friend of over 40 years, Phyllis Macias. In addition to the time she cherished with her family, friends, and cats, Sherry loved attending Angels games, making jewelry, beading, and playing Bunco. However, her greatest passion was coaching the children of Special Olympics Southern California where she found her true joy.
A private graveside service will be held at Olivewood Cemetery in Riverside, California. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Sherry’s name to either the Humane Society or Special Olympics Southern California.
