It is with heavy hearts and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Susan Marie “Sue” Goudy, who returned to her Heavenly Father on October 6, 2024. Susan was born on June 2, 1955, in Monterey Park, California, to Robert Paul Endy and Zita Joan Endy, and grew up in Whittier, California. She was a beloved sister to Cheryl and Robbie, and a cherished friend to many.
Susan attended California High School, graduating with the class of 1973, where she formed lifelong friendships. In 1978, she married the love of her life, Mike Goudy, and together they built a beautiful family. Susan was a devoted mother to four children: Shannon, Jason, Jonathan, and Shelley.
A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Susan raised her family in Corona, California. She found joy in Angels Baseball, camping at Jalama Beach, and watching her grandchildren play sports. Her passion for these hobbies brought her immense happiness and countless cherished memories.
Susan worked as a paraeducator at Victress Bowers School from 1997 to 2019. During her tenure, she touched the lives of many students and colleagues, forming deep and lasting friendships.
Susan was a wonderful mother and grandmother. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
