On Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 Tanner Kent, loving son, brother, and grandson passed away at the age of 28. Tanner was born on October 16th, 1992 in Corona, CA to Deneen Haught and Michael Kent. He graduated from Norco High School class of 2010. Tanner was born and raised in Norco where his mom and grandparents still reside. In October 2007, Tanner was in a dirt bike accident that resulted in him being a quadriplegic. Tanner did not let his accident define who he was. He was selfless, caring, and oftentimes the voice of reason. Tanner loved to be outdoors in the sun. He enjoyed racing his R.C. cars, and spending quality time with family and friends, along with his sidekick, Diva. Tanner was very passionate about all things sports. He loved watching football, hockey, and the McAfee Show, to name a few. Tanner was known for his infectious smile, his compassion, and the love he had for his friends and family. Tanner was preceded in death by his Grandma Kathryn Kent, Aunt Donna and Uncle Tom Elam. He is survived by his mom Deneen Haught, father Michael Kent, sister Shawnda Frederiksen, grandparents Denise and Kelso Haught, grandparents Don and Mary Kent, and such a huge extended family; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who love and cherish him very much. There will be a celebration of life at a future date. He will be missed by many.
