Thomas Robert Lahmon

Thomas R Lahmon, 52, of Eastvale, California, passed away November 20, 2021, with his wife by his side after a brief, brave battle with COVID-19. Tom (TR) was an extraordinary son, husband, and father. He loved his family very much. They always came first. "He was the type of guy that was always there to help you out and lift you up if you were feeling down, day or night," a brother teamster shared. "In the time I knew him from working together in the Brea yard, he was known as spotter Tom, and from that day forward, that's what we called him. He was always asking questions, wanting to learn as much as he could. He made us laugh, and he will truly be missed." On December 26, 1968, Tom was born to Thomas E and Mary (Wichelmann) Lahmon in Orange, California. After graduating from Katella High School in 1987, he went to work for Lucky's grocery store. Then on to the City of Anaheim's Street Maintenance Department for ten plus years. Tom married his wife, Sarah Elizabeth Jones, on November 14, 1998, in Fullerton, Ca. They had just celebrated 23 years of marriage. They joyfully raised their two boys, Kyle and Kevin, split between Anaheim and Eastvale, California. Tom worked for Coca-Cola for twenty years, moving to delivery driving, followed the last several years for Albertsons and Vons. Tom had a die-hard love for the Anaheim Ducks and enjoyed the river, off-road racing, monster truck events, and spending time with his family. Tom is survived by his parents, Tom and Mardi; his wife, Sarah; his sons, Kyle (21) and Kevin (19); two brothers Aaron (Heather) Lahmon and Jon Lahmon; nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. There will be a service in January 2022.
