Tomas Jaramillo Casiano Tomas Jaramillo Casiano of Riverside, California passed away in Alsip, Illinois on July 24, 2015. On May 3, 2015 Tomas moved to Alsip to live with his daughter Elizabeth. Tomas was born in Kingsbury, Texas on October 30, 1936 to Guadalupe and Eulogio Casiano. Tomas was a United States Army veteran. He served a tour in Hawaii from 1956-1959, where he earned a rifle sharpshooter badge and a good conduct medal. Tomas retired from his gardening/landscaping business in early 1995. He enjoyed spending his time traveling and visiting with family and friends. He drove from California to Illinois several times stopping to visit with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Delia Casiano (February 22, 1995) and youngest son John Anthony Casiano (May 30, 2009). He is survived by his sister Mary Fernandez (David) of Texas, children (spouses) in age order Margaret Castro, Felix G. Vigil (Yolanda), Rita V. Orona (Steven Bourque) of Florida, Paula Lopez (Timothy Gaffney) of Illinois, Tomas A. Casiano (Debra), Elizabeth Landeros (Raymond) of Illinois, Jose A. Casiano (Mona) and grandson raised as a son Felix George Vigil (Kathrina). Grandchildren include Margaret Lujan, Elizabeth Perez, Monica Vigil, Jack Vigil, Felice Vigil, Chelsea Long, John A. Orona, Josephine M. Roth, Steven Lopez, Adam Lopez, Paul Lopez, Loraine Gaffney, Patrick Lopez, Thomas Casiano, Victoria Casiano, Randy Casiano, Michael A. Casiano, Klaryse Landeros, Raymond Matthew Landeros, Jose A. Casiano Jr., Robert Casiano, Tanya Casiano, Josie Casiano, Irene Casiano and John Matthew Casiano. Along with the 26 grandchildren he is survived by 41 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild on the way. Services will be held at Sierra Memorial Chapel Mortuary, 4933 La Sierra Avenue, Riverside, CA 92505 on Friday, August 7, 2015. Viewing hours are 10:00-12:00, Service starts at 12:00 followed with the interment at Riverside National Cemetery Staging Area #5 at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are asked to join in a meal right after the interment at the Holiday Inn Express, 24630 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley.
