In loving memory of Velia Lara. Velia was a resident of Corona for 40 years. She was born in Presidio, Texas on April 7, 1937, and passed on April 7, 2025 at home with her daughter and son-in-law by her side. She came to California in 1942 with her parents and 3 siblings, they settled in Upland, California. She attended Chaffey High School where she graduated from in 1956. She was married on April 22, 1961 and later had 3 children. Velia worked as an Instructional Bilingual Aide for 30 years, where she touched so many lives. She is survived by her 3 children and their spouses: Beatrice Mosher and Dimitri Khoury of Corona, Johnny and Marlene Mosher of Rubidoux and son Gary Mosher, Anna Mosher of Riverside, 7 grandchildren, Lisa, JJ, Victor, Gabriel, Beanca, Melissa, Gary; 15 great grandchildren, Savannah, Isaiah, Makayla, Mariah, Angelina, Elias, Calista, Michael, Eleena, Jordan, Elijah, Elise, June, Annalise, Amelia; brothers Gustavo Ramos of Henderson, Nevada, Joe Ramos of Upland and sister Betty Ramos of Upland, along with her special companion dog Missy.
Predeceased by her husband Francisco Lara, her parents, Gustavo and Beatrice Ramos, sisters, Connie Gonzales and Eva Hernandez and brothers Alfred Ramos and Richard Ramos.
