On December 16, 2019, Dwain Hardwick, loving husband to wife Betsy, was called home. His journey began June 13, 1964 in Upland, CA with his parents Victor and Virginia. He is survived by Betsy, his parents, his sister Tracy, his brother Chris and his beloved dog Lucky. His youngest sister Melissa, was also called home about a year ago. We are certain that she and his faithful dog AJ were anxiously awaiting his arrival across the Bridge. Our loss is Heaven's gain. As children, Dwain and his siblings enjoyed many activities including dirt bike riding in the desert, which created a strong bond between the family. He loved his family with all of his heart and was always just a phone call away. He was a devoted and loving husband to Betsy, whom he married June 5, 2004. Some of their favorite adventures included countless road trips, which produced an abundance of cherished memories. He followed in the footsteps of his father and worked in the printing industry for over 25 years. His last job before he started up a pet care/training business was at LithoCraft in Anaheim, where he made many friends who remained close even after he left. Dwain had real animal magnetism! He never met a dog or cat he didn't like or couldn't train. He was actively involved in pet rescue, so naturally several of his own personal pets were rescues. In 2012, he decided to follow his heart and start-up a pet care business called It's a Dog's Life. It was a natural fit for his personality and talents. He not only formed easy bonds with pets, but with their owners as well. With his kind and welcoming personality, both people and animals were magnetically drawn to him. He had a special talent for connecting with others, both two legged and four. He kept those around him laughing and his joyful spirit has left the world a little less bright. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile, huge heart, and joyful spirit. "Your life was a blessing, your memory, a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
