Victoria Jean Vachal

Victoria Jean Vachal, 65, or Riverside, California passed away on May 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on November 29, 1959, in El Monte, California, Victoria lived a life defined by love, resilience, and devotion to her family.

A devoted mother and homemaker, Victoria poured her heart into raising her children and creating a warm, welcoming home. She was happiest when surrounded by her "crazy family," tending to her garden, or playing with her beloved dogs. She had a gift for cooking that brought people together, and her kitchen was often filled with laughter and chaos of those she loved most.

Victoria is survived by her loving partner, Marc Berlanga; her children Stephanie Burmingham, Ricky Vachal, Michelle Martinez, and Cody Berlanga; her stepchildren Nick Berlanga and Shane Shugard. She was a proud grandmother to Justin and Jacob Burmingham, Gage and Hailie Vachal, Lila and Grace Berlanga, and Anthony Martinez, and a joyful great grandmother to Kyngston, Kanan and Ryder Burmingham. She was preceded in death by her husband Ricky Joe Vachal, and her parents Jimmie Dale Michael, and Virginia and Joseph Bonillas.

Victoria will be remembered for her stubborn spirit, her quick wit, and her fierce love for those around her. She never hesitated to help others, often putting everyone else's needs ahead of her own. Her legacy is one of strength, selflessness, and an unshakable bond with her family.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
