Victoria V. Uribe passed away at her home on January 1st, 2023 surrounded by her three daughters and granddaughter. Victoria was born in Corona to her parents Mike and Esther Villa. She was the eldest of four siblings. Following Victoria was her brother Alfred Villa (Josie), Rosie Sanchez (Filiberto), and youngest sister Margaret Villa. Victoria lived in Corona her whole life and briefly worked at the Corona Packing House before meeting her best friend/husband Arturo S. Uribe. They were married for 63 years. She is survived by her sister Rosa, her three daughters Maria Elena U. Vincenzi (Vanni/deceased), Victoria Humbles (Jim), and Nancy Uribe (Jack Decker Jr.), and only granddaughter Jaclyn Nanette Decker, godchildren Rosa Sanchez Werden and Jack Decker Jr., and her nieces and nephews. Victoria was Queen of the Corona Lemon Festival three times. She loved shopping, family, family vacations, tending to her beautiful garden, crocheting, embroidering, and cooking. She was a homemaker and parishioner of St. Edward Catholic Church. She was a nurturing, loving mother and grandmother and will be our treasure forever. She will be sorely missed. The Rosary is to be held Monday, the 17th, at Thomas Miller Mortuary from 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass is on the 18th at 10:00 am at St. Edward Catholic Church. Burial at Sunnyslope Cemetery at 11:30 am following the Mass.
