Vidal Valle

October 14, 1970 — November 30, 2018

Vidal Valle was a very faithful man: a husband, a father, a son, and a brother who loved God and loved to help others. He was born on October 14, 1970, to Juan and Maria Valle in Mexicali Baja California, Mexico. After graduating from CSU, Dominguez Hills with a master's degree in psychology, he made his living teaching and counseling college students. He married Lilliana Martinez on October 4, 2003 and the following summer, they welcomed their first child, Vanessa. Two years later, their son Israel was born, and in 2011, their daughter Erandi came, completing their family. He was a wonderful husband and a devoted father. He spent every moment showing love for his family, often sacrificing sleep to be present to his wife and children in spite of a demanding career and a long commute. He would send Lilliana the biggest bouquets, escort Vanessa to her school dances, go to Israel's baseball games, and enjoy fun times with little Erandi. Vidal was a kid at heart, he enjoyed being silly with the kids, telling jokes and making people laugh. His corny jokes would brighten any mood. He actively worshiped and served in his church community. In the Couples for Christ ministry, he was a household leader and an inspiring speaker. He loved art and music almost as much as family, with a talent and passion for painting and composing music-a Mexican Banda professionally recorded one of his songs in Mexico. He loved playing the guitar and the accordion. When Vidal was just three, his father Juan remembers going off to work with his grandpa, waiting for the bus with their guitars in hand, when his wife called out, "Look at your son! He is following you with his little guitar." As a boy, Vidal joined a baseball league for Boy's Club in San Pedro, California. In 1982, he made the all-star team and played the Little League World Series in Logan, Utah. He went on to play varsity baseball for two years at San Pedro High School. It would later be a special joy for him watch his own son play baseball. Vidal is survived by his wife, Lilliana; his children, Vanessa, Israel and Erandi, his parents Juan and Maria, brother Moises, and his sisters Maria and Monica. He will be remembered and missed dearly. Flower donations are appreciated.
