Virginia Bernice Estes, age 96, of Corona, California passed away on Wednesday, November 25th, 2020. Virginia was born May 17th, 1924 to Raymond and Helen Meisenbach in Gary, Indiana. Virginia and family moved to California at an early age. Virginia had one brother, John Meisenbach, two sisters, Marilyn Gribben and Carole Kee, who preceded her in death. Virginia met the love of her life James Estes and they married on January 13th, 1951. They raised two children and shortly after the birth of the second child they moved to Tustin, California. In the early 1960's Virginia and James started an Aerospace Machining Company where she ran the front office. Later they bought a resort in Gunnison, Colorado and moved there. After selling the resort Virginia and James moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. In 1979 they moved back to California and came out of semi-retirement to open another Aerospace Machining Company along with a second company that supported the first. In Brea, California they sold the first company and together worked the second business until her husband, James, passed on December 9th, 2000. Virginia continued to work until her retirement. Virginia enjoyed working, traveling, holidays, and family. She was active with her grandchildren, never missing them race, play a baseball or football game. She enjoyed watching, listening or attending Angel games, and her favorite food was Mexican. Virginia is survived by her two children James L. Estes and Shelly D. Jones, daughter-in-law Shirley Estes and son-in-law Terry Jones, five grandsons Richard, Dana, Kenneth, Mathew, and Gregory, granddaughter Kimberly, along with their spouses, eleven great grandsons Zachary, Brayden, Alexander, Dale Jr., Christopher, Clayton, Mason, Edwin, Bodhi, Westen, and Brandon. Three great granddaughters Kassie, Sydney, and Taylor. Virginia (Mom) was the matriarch of our family. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
