Wayne Dale Hargrove passed away January 3, 2019 leaving behind his loving family. Wayne was born in Covina, California on August 3, 1947 to J.T and Evelyn Hargrove. He graduated from Bonita High school in June 1966 and joined the U.S. Airforce in September of the same year serving in the Vietnam War, where he was an aircraft mechanic and Crew Chief on KC-135s. Wayne took a two year break in service in 1970 and reenlisted back into the Airforce in 1972 until his retirement from service in 1988. After his retirement from the U.S Airforce, Wayne worked for Rockwell International on the construction of the Space Shuttle Endeavor maintaining calibration on equipment, as that contract ended Wayne then worked for Lockheed Martin who was contracted to NASA as a Calibration Technician at Edwards A.F.B. Wayne loved the Outdoors, his hobbies included Hunting, Fishing, Prospecting and tinkering with anything mechanical. Wayne was devoted to his family he leaves behind his loving wife, Pongsri Hargrove, his three sons Aaron Hargrove, Jonathan Hargrove and Christopher Hargrove. Included in his legacy are 8 grandchildren who he cherished very much. His passing leaves a void in the lives of his entire family, fortunately each of them have memories of the times they have spent together. Funeral Services will be held on January 28th 2019 at Riverside National Cemetery, Following the service there will be a reception at Aunt Betty's house for family and friends to gather.
