Wendy Mchenry Clark

Wendy McHenry Clark, 46, Wendy was born on August 9, 1976, in Fontana, California to Ronald O. McHenry and Jennifer L. Smith. She graduated from Fontana High School in 1993. She went on to further her education, receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Cal Baptist University in August of 2018. Wendy was employed in the Finance Department at the City of Victorville for over 17 years. Prior to her time with the City of Victorville she was employed by the County of San Bernardino in the Human Resources Department. Wendy married Travis Clark on April 22, 2017. She left behind one son, Justin, 23, and two stepdaughters, Macie, 14 and Ellie, 10. She lived in Norco, California at the time of her passing. She had been a resident of the Norco area for seven years. Prior to living in Norco, Wendy had lived in Hesperia, California for several years. Wendy loved to travel. She spent as much time as possible camping with her family in their motorhome. Her favorite camping destinations were the Mammoth Lakes area, Southern Utah, and the beach. She also enjoyed traveling to faraway places, such as the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Hawaii, and Mexico. Wendy loved to spend time in nature. She enjoyed hiking, sightseeing, nature walks and swimming. Wendy is survived by her husband Travis Clark (Norco, CA), her son Justin Prather (Norco, CA), step-daughters Macie and Ellie Clark (Norco, CA), her mother Jennifer McHenry (Hesperia, CA), grandmother Terry Jackson (Victorville, CA), grandmother Rita Pappe (Grove, OK), brother Ronald Zachariah McHenry (Auburn, WA), twin sister Joy McHenry (Hesperia, CA), father-in-law Lodi Clark (Norco, CA), and mother-in-law Lori Clark (Norco, CA). Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Ronald O. McHenry (2018). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023, 11 am to 2 pm at the FieldHouse Terrace at SilverLakes Park, 5555 Hamner Avenue, Norco, CA 92860. All are welcome.
