William Donald Moeder

MOEDER, William D. May 15, 1946 - April 22, 2015 Bill Moeder, 68 years old, born in Long Beach, CA. passed away at home in Corona, CA from cancer. Bill is survived by his wife, Pat Moeder. His children Lisa Byrd, Kim Opferman, Joe Dutko and their spouses. His grandchildren Paige Opferman, Daniel Opferman, JT Dutko and Shelby Dutko. Bill has four sisters and one brother, Suzanne Henry, Melinda Biddle, Sheila Kuhlman, Roxanne Moeder and Kurt Moeder. Bill grew up in Torrance and lived in Ventura County before moving to Corona 21 years ago. He had a variety of careers including Police Officer, banking professional and an executive in the building material supply industry. Bill also served in the Navy Construction Battalion in Viet Nam from 1965 to 1967. No one who ever met Bill would easily forget him. Bill was a man of strong character and great humor. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son and loyal friend. He will be truly missed by all that knew him. A memorial service will be held Wed.
