William Franklin Pruett *Husband*Father*Grandpa*Great-Grandpa* William Franklin Pruett (“Bill”) passed away Saturday January 17 at the age of 85. He was born on November 22, 1929 in East Alton, Illinois. He married June, the love of his life, on May 26, 1951 and had 2 children, Leslie and Steven. Another of Bills loves was the U.S. Navy where he served from 1950-1954 as an Aviation Electronics Technician during the Korean War. After the war, he worked for General Dynamics Convair in San Diego County for more than 30 years in the accounting department. After retirement, he and June built their dream home in Grand Junction, Colorado, where they lived until 2013. Bills hobbies included gardening, dancing and journaling. He and June enjoyed international travel as well as RV-ing throughout the U.S. and Canada. Bill is survived by his wife June Pruett, his daughter Leslie Brahm, son-in-law Robert Brahm, son Steven Pruett, grandchildren Erika Nichols, Vanessa Brahm and Nathan Brahm, and six great-grandchildren. A celebration of Life service, concluding with military honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30 at March Field Air Museum.
