William Mack McMahon, passed 05/11/2014 @ 333. Born December 10, 1934 in Leavenworth, Kansas, son to Alien Mamie and John W. McMahon of Rector, Arkansas. On November 7, 1956 he married Dorothy Helen McMahon, his loving wife of 57 years. Together they have four sons; Larry Eugene McMahon, Johnny Lee and wife Evelia McMahon, Billy Mack and wife Sandra McMahon, and Tommy Joe and wife Sylvia McMahon. William is a Grandpa of 15 and a Great Grandpa of 14. Brother to Alvin Lee McMahon, he is also an Uncle, as well as Great Uncle to several nieces and nephews. William received his Associates Degree from Riverside Community College and later joined the Air Force during the Korean War, he spent 2 years in Japan where he learned to speak Japanese. He was a Staff Sergeant based at March A.F.B. William gave 37 years of his life to Rohr Industries working as a Supervisor, where for 17 of those years he played Santa, as well as at Castle Park. His hobbies included Softball and Coaching for Bethel Christian and Rohr Aircraft. A Music Teacher for 13 years and a member of the Bethel Christian Choir, William loved music. Playing guitar his whole life, he also learned to play most instruments with the exception of horns. William was an avid Hat Collector, acquiring a huge and unique collection. He enjoyed Genealogy and traveled to Ireland to research the Family history. William has a lot of loves in his life; his wife Dorothy, his sons, his whole family and friends, television, and most importantly, his Faith.
