William Patrick Howard was born in Garden Grove, California on March 15, 1960 To the parents of: William Joseph Howard & Mary Patricia Howard He had three loving sisters: Kathy, Peggy and Nancy His wife, his one true love: Sherry L Howard His three children he was so proud of: Jonah, Dannette and Wil He had two grandchildren who he adored, they were his world: Everleigh and Eloise He had a god son who he loved: Aaron Reiss (Who also has a passion to cook, just like his uncle Billy) Billy was the most wonderful man I have ever met; he was caring and generous. He was always willing to give anyone a helping hand. He did not like to see people sad or hurting. He would try and fix everything he could for a friend, family, or even a stranger in need. He loved his family more than anything in the whole entire world. Billy's love for his family and friends was selfless, as he always put them first and wanted to make sure everyone was okay. Billy loved his mother so much. All he wanted was for her to live each day with a happy and healthy heart. Not a day would go by where he didn't call to see how her day was going and tell her that he loved her. It was the most important call of the day, he truly loved you Pat. We all know he gave you a run for your money when he was a boy, but we are all blessed with the funny stories of his child hood. You were an incredible mother and Bill was a great father too. Because of the two of you, I had an amazing husband and my children had an amazing father. My husband was a phenomenal man. He never made me question his love for me or all three of our children. He was my best friend and he always made our family feel special and loved. I know his children often felt he was a complainer, but it was his way of loving them and making sure they were doing the right thing. Billy is a shining example of what a Father should be, and because of that all three of our children turned out to be wonderful adults. He was so proud to be your father Jonah, Dannette and Wil. I wish I could explain the magnitude of love he had when he would talk about the three of you. Jonah, he was so proud of the father that you became. He loved seeing how much you loved your girls, because it reminded him of how he loved you, your sister and brother. He was so honored to be your father. You have made him proud with your service in the United States Army, and your career at Boeing. You have done well and your father loved you very much. Wil, you were your father's son! You made him proud with your caring and loving heart. You would give a stranger the shirt off your back just like your father would. You have followed in your father's footsteps from fixing cars, working on the house and being that solid rock in our family. We all know dad was a little envious of your tool collection and your gun collection, but he loved having a mini me around to help him. He is so proud of all of your achievements and was honored to be your father. He loved you so very much Wil. Dannette, you will always be your father's baby girl. He was so proud of the many accomplishments you have achieved in your life. He was most proud and honored to be a part of your graduation and badge ceremony as a probation/correction officer. You have always been your daddy's tough little girl and you have proven that time and time again. He was so proud of your determination and fearlessness. He loved you so much Dannette. He always wanted to protect you and make sure you were okay. You will always be his princess. Billy was so happy and proud to be Grandpa. He loved those grandchildren with all of his heart. He couldn't wait till Eveleigh was old enough to eat ice cream and have sweet treats. As soon as he got the green light he had treats in the garage just for her. Boy did that little girl love you! She knew where to get those sweet treats. She would hit the back door to the garage and say "Grandpa, Grandpa". We all know that you snuck Eloise some ice cream before you got the green light, but it's ok because you were the best grandpa to those girls. Billy was a believer, and had accepted Jesus Christ as his personal lord and savior. I have no doubt of where he is right now, hearing the Lord say unto him "Well done my good and faithful servant" ~"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, less any man should boast". Ephesians 2:8,9 On Monday May 21st at 2:06 pm the Lord called Billy home. We give thanks that he did not suffer, and that his passing was peaceful. Although we will miss him dearly, we believe it is all part of Gods plan. ~"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
